Bombastic Industries Group (B.I.G.) Signs F, Garrius Holloman

 

Bombastic Industries Group (B.I.G.) is pleased to announce that former Bethune-Cookman Forward, Garrius Holloman has chosen B.I.G. to represent him.

 

The 6’6”, 210 lb Wichita, Kansas native had a great collegiate career.  During his junior year, he led Bethune-Cookman to its best season in program history, winning the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) regular season title with a record of 21-13.  They would advance to their first-ever postseason appearance at the Division 1 level where Holloman posted a 20 point performance against Virginia Tech of the Atlantic Coast Conference in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT).

 

During his senior season, Holloman averaged 10.1 points per game and a team high 6.7 rebounds per game.  In the conference tournament, he hit a game winning shot with 5.7 seconds remaining to help his team advance to the semi-finals.  They would go on to play in their first-ever conference tournament championship game.  For his outstanding season, Holloman was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District Team for District 15.

 

In preparation for the upcoming NBA Draft later this month, Holloman will be training in Daytona, Florida back on the campus of Bethune-Cookman.  In addition, Holloman has been invited to participate in the European Summer League Camp in Las Vegas, Nevada and will be attending from July 14th-16th.  Holloman will have the opportunity to showcase his skill set to over thirty European and NBA scouts who will be attending the camp.
