New York Giants Running Back DJ “ Danny” Ware is finally getting an opportunity to play and show his skills to New York Giants fans. He will be a key player this weekend in San Francisco when the Giants take on the 49ers and hopefully for weeks and years to come. After a solid performance against the New England Patriots last week, this has been a long time coming for the Georgia born athlete from Rockmart, Rockmart High School and later Hargrave Military Academy. His college career was at the University of Georgia for the Bulldogs and then on to the Tennessee Titans and New York Jets practice squad before the New York Giants scooped him up.
He has fought hard to make the 53 man roster and to carve a niche for himself in the Giants backfield. Now with Ahmad Bradshaw sidelined with a foot injury and Brandon Jacobs complaining about playing time, DJ Ware is finding a steady role as the #2 running back on the team. He is fast, he catches the ball well and he picks up the blitz and is showing he is more than capable of getting the job done. Over the past few years DJ has made a collection of videos about his training, his drive to play the game he loves and about the human side of the man.
These exlcusive videos were lost over time and forgotten. With the miracle of todays technology we have been able to recover the lost “ DJ Ware Chronicles”. It is our pleasure to share these videos with you, so that you can get to know DJ just a little better and appreciate him as we do as he fights for yards and contributes to the New York Giants out on the playing field.
